my name is marisa, and I couldn't be more thrilled that you've landed here.

you are likely visiting because you share my passion for color (or you’re my loving mother – hi mom!!). either way, welcome to neon salt studio.

so, why “neon salt studio”?

the catalyst for my infatuation with color may or may not have been discovering the 96-color crayon box at a young age, leaving me awestruck by all the hues and shades. that and the fact that I have been practicing art for as long as I can remember. from playing with arts & crafts kits as a kid to dabbling in digital art, film photography and taking courses in watercolors and oil painting, art has been a constant in my life. and now, with my studio established, I am ready to proudly call myself an Artist with a capital “A”.

the “neon” and “salt” parts are more straightforward. I want my art to infuse vibrance and joy into people's lives and spaces. while not every piece incorporates neon colors or my signature salt sprinkles, it is all about capturing the essence of brightness and being carefree – the same feeling I strive for while creating.
